Hawker food, with a little more green
Menu changes with the market
Fresh from the wok · served today
Fern Current is a tiny hawker stall for generous plates, sharp pickles, and the kind of chilli that makes you sit up.
A small stall note
We start with familiar hawker comfort, then turn the volume up with herbs, acid, and a little crunch.
Fern Current follows the market rather than a fixed script. The base stays warm and generous; the greens, pickles, and toppings shift with what looks best that morning. Nothing is precious. Everything is meant to be eaten while it is hot.
We keep service simple: walk in, look over the board, and find a seat nearby. The daily menu is posted here before the first batch goes out.
Some plates run out when the wok is quiet. That is usually a sign to come earlier tomorrow.
